Hello, I'm Flor Misita... and this is the story behind my pavlovas (and the Cakelova™)

I'm Flor, the person behind Pavlova by FM, and if you're reading this, thank you for taking a moment to get to know me.

What today is an artisan pastry shop in Miami was born in silence, in my kitchen, between trials, mistakes and a lot of love. I fell in love with pavlova, that dessert crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, and I set out to perfect a recipe that could convey something more than flavor: joy, emotion and affection.

Thus began this path, creating personalized pavlovas by hand, decorated with fresh fruits, dulce de leche, Nutella or cream. I prepared each one as if it were for someone I love very much.

I have been lucky that many people choose me to celebrate special moments: birthdays, anniversaries, weddings or just because. I make pavlovas in the form of letters, numbers, hearts, in individual portions, and also giant pavlovas for events that steal all eyes.

And in the midst of all that, my most special creation was born: the Cakelova™.

A fusion that unites the pavlova with three milk cake, whipped cream, dulce de leche and fruits. It is a unique dessert, which I created from scratch, and that today many people recognize as something original and different. Seeing how it has become part of so many celebrations is something that still moves me deeply.
